Local Bankers Complete Capital Raising Efforts
Fort Collins Commerce Bank (in organization) Moves Closer to Opening

FORT COLLINS, Colo.: April 23, 2005 – Local bankers Gerard Nalezny and Mark Kross today announced they have completed their capital-raising efforts for Fort Collins Commerce Bank (in organization). Pending state and regulatory approvals, the proposed bank is scheduled to open mid-summer 2005 at 3700 South College Avenue in the old Palmer Florist building.

“The immediate response from the community enabled us to raise more than $8 million in funding in a very short time,” said Kross. “This type of financial support sends a clear message that there is a need and a desire for the type of high-touch, relationship-based service our community bank will deliver.”

Nalezny and Kross announced plans to organize a community bank in Fort Collins in February. Fort Collins Commerce Bank (in organization) will focus on providing personalized banking services to small to medium-sized business owners, real estate professionals and individuals within Fort Collins and the surrounding communities.

“We are building this bank as a local, community bank with a local management team that makes its decisions right here in Fort Collins,” added Kross.
